NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home:

As the result of the increase in crime that began in the 1980's, recent years have seen an increased public interest in aspect of self-defense and personal protection. Interest in personal protection handguns and firearms training has never been greater. For many people the term of Personal Protection immediately evokes images of martial arts or a handgun in a nightstand. In truth, however, the use of force is only one of many methods that you can employ to defend your life and limb, and indeed is used only at a last resort when others methods have failed. Even when you have the skills and power over your assailant, sidestepping a violent confrontation is ALWAYS the best course. The Basics of Personal Protection in the Home is unique among personal protection courses in that it addresses all aspects of personal protection in the home. Much of the course deals with techniques and strategies designed to deter burglars, home invaders and others criminals, it also includes ways to make your home less appealing to professional criminals who will be inclined to seek easier targets. This course is divided into six (6) parts: Safety: Mental Preparation: Developing Defensive Shooting Skills: Strategies for Home and Personal Safety; Firearms; Self Defense and the Law; and Selecting Firearms, Ammunition and accessories for Personal Protection.  If you have more questions about this course, you can contact us at any time.
NOTE: Long nails are NOT recommendable in this class.
